A Journey Along the Canal de Garonne

A journey guided by flavour, culture, and slow discovery

Day 1 — Montauban
Your journey begins in Montauban, where you step aboard Emma de France and meet your crew over a champagne welcome. After settling in, Emma slips quietly into motion for a first gentle cruise, easing you into life on the water as your chef prepares the opening gourmet dinner.

Day 2 — Toward the Tarn Region
Cruising through open countryside, the day blends time on the water with discoveries ashore. Elegant towns and the châteaux of the Tarn region offer glimpses into centuries of history, paired with relaxed walks, vineyard visits, or cycling along the towpath. Meals on board continue to set the rhythm of the journey.

Day 3 — Moissac
The canal leads to Moissac, home to one of southern France’s great Romanesque treasures. Time is devoted to exploring the renowned abbey and its cloisters, wandering riverside paths, or browsing local markets. The day closes with refined dining and regional wines.

Day 4 — Auvillar
A short cruise brings you to Auvillar, a beautifully preserved medieval hilltop town. Enjoy panoramic views, artisan shops, and a leisurely exploration of winding streets, followed by an indulgent lunch or picnic and a celebratory evening on board.

Day 5 — Toward Toulouse
The final day unfolds gently as Emma cruises beneath plane trees and across striking canal bridges. Time ashore offers a last immersion in culture and flavour before a memorable farewell meal brings the journey to a close.
