A Journey Along the Canal de Garonne

A journey guided by flavour, culture, and slow discovery

Day 1 — Montauban
Your journey begins in Montauban with a champagne welcome aboard Emma de France. Once settled, Emma slips gently into motion for a first short cruise, easing you into life on the water as your chef prepares the opening gourmet dinner.

Day 2 — Toward the Tarn Region
Cruising through open countryside, the day balances time on the canal with discoveries ashore. Elegant towns and the châteaux of the Tarn region offer glimpses into centuries of history, complemented by relaxed walks, vineyard visits, or cycling along the towpath. Dining on board continues to shape the rhythm of the journey.

Day 3 — Moissac
The canal leads to Moissac, home to one of southern France’s great Romanesque landmarks. Time is devoted to exploring the abbey and cloisters, strolling riverside paths, or visiting local markets. The day concludes with refined cuisine and regional wines.

Day 4 — Auvillar
A short cruise brings you to Auvillar, one of the region’s most beautiful medieval hilltop villages. Enjoy panoramic views, winding streets, and artisan traditions, followed by a leisurely lunch or picnic and a celebratory evening on board.

Day 5 — Agen
The final cruise unfolds beneath plane trees and across striking canal bridges before arriving in Agen. Time ashore allows for a last immersion in local culture and flavours. A memorable farewell meal brings the journey to a graceful close.
