Amenities
The Salon
The saloon is the heart of the barge — a light-filled space for dining, conversation, and quiet moments. A generous table and inviting sofas encourage guests to gather, read, play, or simply watch the landscape drift by.
Elegant arched windows echo the region’s architectural heritage, while warm wood softens the iron hull and opens the space to the world outside. It is a room made for shared meals, lingering conversations, and memories in the making.
Kitchen & services
A fully functionning professionnal kitchen for designing flavours. It is where fresh products grown locally are transformed by professionnal chefs or by you, to create moments of happinness, one bite at the time.
The kitchen has a fridge and freezer, wine cooler, drinks cooler, ice machine, a gas stove, an oven, an expresso machine and a dishwasher.
Other amenities include a washing machine and a dryer.
Outdoor spaces
The wooden upper deck is an open-air space for dining, relaxing, and simply being. With flexible shade, comfortable seating, and sun loungers, it offers the perfect setting from morning coffee to sunset apéritifs as the landscape drifts by.
The Cabins
Emma has three intimate cabins, each inspired by a natural element. Designed as quiet retreats, they offer comfort, privacy, and a sense of calm after days spent drifting along the canal.
Air
Light and luminous, with soft golden tones and a queen-size bed. Private bathroom with shower and toilet.
Terre
Rooted in nature, with gentle greens and floral accents. Two single beds (joined or separate) and a private bathroom.
Eau
Deep blues inspired by moonlight on water, creating a serene, dreamlike atmosphere. Private bathroom included.
Getting around
Bicycles are available for guests to explore at their own pace — cycling alongside the canal, discovering nearby towns, and returning on board with stories to share.
A discreet support vehicle accompanies Emma, providing transfers and access to the surrounding region. It allows for effortless visits to markets, producers, exhibitions, and places of interest, extending the journey beyond the water.
Devices
Emma is designed as a space apart from everyday life — for reading, conversation, observation, and rest. There is time to sit and watch the landscape, listen for birds, cycle along the canal, or simply be still.
There is no television. Music, when you choose it, fills the space — inviting joy, reflection, or quiet emotion. Connectivity is available, though many guests find it easier to disconnect and let the rhythm of the journey take over.

Emma is expertly navigated by an experienced pilot, supported by a discreet crew who ensure the journey unfolds smoothly and effortlessly. On board, everything is taken care of — from navigation and moorings to the quiet details that make life on the canal feel seamless.
On all-inclusive journeys, a private chef prepares refined French cuisine, supported by a dedicated team behind the scenes.
